Our Goa trip began with a long and exciting drive from Mangalore to Goa. On the way, we stopped for breakfast at Mari Bhattara Hotel, where we had a tasty and filling meal before continuing our journey.
By afternoon, we reached Goa and headed to our homestay — Patnem Palm Garden by LePetit. The stay had two floors, and even though there was a small issue with the AC, the place was really nice. The best part was that it was just a short walk to the beach, and there was a swimming pool right in front of our cottage!
After keeping our luggage, Gahan couldn’t wait and immediately jumped into the pool and enjoyed swimming. Later in the evening, we walked to Patnem Beach.
Patnem Beach is known for being peaceful and less crowded compared to other Goa beaches, with calm waters and a relaxing vibe—perfect for families and kids.
At the beach, we booked a boat ride for ₹3000. There were different options like Butterfly Beach and Honeymoon Beach, and we chose Honeymoon Beach. We booked the ride with Siddhivinayak Boat.
We started our boat ride at around 4:20 PM. The ride itself was very exciting, and we enjoyed the sea breeze and views. Honeymoon Beach is a small and isolated beach that you can reach only by boat, making it feel like a hidden place.
We reached there by 6:30 PM. All of us got into the water and had a lot of fun swimming and playing. It was a peaceful and enjoyable experience.
After coming back, Gahan still had energy left and went again into the pool at the homestay!
At night, we had dinner at Patnem Beach, where there are many beachside restaurants offering delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.
We ended the day feeling happy and excited because the next day’s plan was to visit Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, located inside a forest in Goa.
