Gahan’s Experience
Gahan returned for the second attempt of the Periyamalai trek with his parents, along with Guhan and his dad, and Gahan’s aunt. This time, Gahan climbed the hill with confidence and reached the peak with ease. Compared to the first attempt, he was much more comfortable on the steep sections and was not afraid of the height. The rocky climb felt smoother, and he managed to climb many sections without needing help.
Along the way, Gahan also encountered monkeys on the hill but stayed calm and did not get scared. He even fed one of them. During the trek, he also made a new furry friend — a dog that followed the group all the way to the peak and back, happily sharing some snacks with them.
